Cable Field Technician

Astound is seeking a Cable Field Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot internet, phone, and cable services for residential and business customers. In this customer-facing role, you will run and terminate cabling, configure modems and routers, test signal strength, and resolve connectivity issues on-site. You'll document work orders, maintain equipment, and uphold safety and quality standards. Responsibilities

• Install, test, and troubleshoot internet, phone, and cable services at customer locations
• Run, terminate, and label coax and ethernet cabling according to standards
• Configure and activate modems, routers, and set-top boxes
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity, signal, and equipment issues on-site
• Educate customers on equipment use and basic troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate work orders, service documentation, and inventory
• Follow safety procedures and comply with industry and company standards
• Collaborate with technical support and network teams to resolve complex issues
