Production Maintenance Technician
We're looking for a FULL TIME Production Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations through equipment setup, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance. This role requires strong multitasking abilities across mechanical, electrical, and utility systems, including water, steam, and pump systems. The mechanic must be able to diagnose issues quickly, perform timely repairs, and ensure reliable operation of production equipment and related systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform setup, startup, maintenance, and repair of all production and processing equipment, including:
- Rotary Fillers
- Piston Fillers
- Packette Fillers
- Tube Fillers
- Labelers
- Inkjet Coders
- Mixing Vessels
- Pumps
- Steam piping systems
- Copper piping systems
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system failures and implement effective solutions.
Conduct repairs on water systems, steam lines, pumps, and related utilities.
Ensure equipment operates efficiently, safely, and in support of production schedules.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support department and company needs.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools.
- Strong pipe-fitting skills.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems and repairs.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Extremely detail-oriented and well-organized.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to multitask.
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in responding to workload demands.
- Consistent performance within established guidelines and procedures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of related experience and/or technical training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for the majority of the workday.
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and perform physical tasks as needed.
