Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Pool Cleaning/Technician
Location: New York
As a Pool Mechanic you are responsible for the systems behind the water: heaters, plumbing, equipment sets, leak detection. You will work alongside our construction division on plumbing and system layouts, on pools built to a standard that leaves no room for approximation.
Install, maintain and repair custom gunite and vinyl pool systems and heaters, open and close pools, run leak detection, and document every service call.

The Role What the work actually involves.As a Pool Mechanic, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of high-end custom gunite and vinyl pool systems, including heaters and related equipment. This role involves opening and closing pools, performing service and repair work, and collaborating with our construction division on plumbing and system layouts. Attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to excellence are essential to creating and maintaining luxurious pools for our clients.
Essentialjob duties
- Perform summerization and winterization of pools and spas.
- Clean and chemically balance pools, spas and other water features in the most efficient manner.
- Maintain all pool equipment in good working order.
- Maintain relationships to ensure consistency and company standards are met.
- Identify issues or concerns to bring to the manager's attention, along with potential renovations or repairs.
- Accurately document service calls and submit reports to the office in a timely manner.
- Repair pools, spas and water features and associated equipment, including installing and upgrading new and existing equipment, and performing leak detection.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
- Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
- Prior pool service or mechanical experience is a must.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Full time year-round or seasonal positions available based on performance reviews.
- Monday through Friday. Saturdays required during the summer season as needed.

Pay and overtime$30.00 to $35.00 an hour based on experience. Overtime is available and paid. Paychecks are weekly.
