Oscar Stone Jewelry is looking for an experienced Bench Jeweler & Jewelry Repair Technician to join our team. We are seeking a highly skilled professional who can confidently handle a wide range of jewelry repairs, restoration work, and custom jewelry projects.

The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, have excellent attention to detail, and have the technical skills necessary to repair and create fine jewelry to a high standard of quality.

• Perform a wide variety of jewelry repairs and restoration services.
• Repair gold, silver, platinum, and other precious metals
  .
• Perform ring sizing, soldering, stone setting, prong repair, chain repair, clasp replacement, and other common jewelry repairs.
• Repair and restore damaged or worn jewelry.
• Create custom jewelry pieces from concepts, sketches, or customer requests
  .
• Modify and redesign existing jewelry into new custom pieces.
• Perform stone setting, including diamonds and gemstones.
• Work with different metals, stones, settings, and jewelry styles.
• Complete polishing, finishing, buffing, and final quality inspections.
• Identify repair issues and determine the appropriate repair method.
• Handle valuable customer and company merchandise with extreme care.
• Maintain an organized and clean workbench and properly maintain tools and equipment.
• Complete repairs accurately and within established deadlines.
• Work closely with sales associates and management to understand customer repair and custom-order requirements.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets Oscar Stone's quality standards.

• 3+ years of professional bench jewelry experience preferred.
• Strong experience repairing a wide variety of jewelry.
• Strong soldering and fabrication skills

• Experience with stone setting and gemstone handling.
• Experience creating custom jewelry pieces is required.
• Ability to work with gold, silver, platinum, and other precious metals.
• Strong knowledge of jewelry construction, repair techniques, and finishing.
• Ability to troubleshoot difficult or complex repairs.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair projects.
• Experience working with diamonds and fine jewelry is strongly preferred.
