A&W Furnishings is looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team.
We specialize in custom furniture and architectural millwork for shuls, schools, mikvahs, and commercial projects. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and can handle custom installation and finishing work.
Responsibilities include:- Installation of custom millwork, cabinetry, bookcases, wall paneling, furniture, and related items
- On-site fitting, adjustments, and finishing
- Reading drawings and measurements
- Troubleshooting installation issues on site
- Working carefully and professionally in finished spaces
- Coordinating with our project management team
- Strong measuring and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Attention to detail and high-quality finishing
- Reliable and responsible
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to travel to job sites throughout the NY/NJ area
Full-time position. Competitive pay based on experience.
