Boom Truck Mechanic/Technician Starting Pay $33.00++, depending experience Transervice offers free health care paid 100% by Transervice Transervice Logistics awarded Winner of 2025 Best Places to Work.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on:
  • Aerial lift devices
  • Crane trucks
  • Utility service vehicles
• Conduct annual ANSI inspections.
• Perform dielectric testing preparation and follow-up repairs.
• Diagnose and repair:
  • Hydraulic leaks and component failures
  • Electrical faults
  • PTO systems
  • Boom operation issues
  • Stabilizer/outrigger systems
• Inspect and repair structural boom components.
• Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately.
• Ensure all equipment complies with OSHA, ANSI, DOT, and manufacturer standards.
• Perform road service and emergency repairs as needed.
• Assist with training junior technicians on aerial equipment maintenance and inspections.

Benefits

• High school diploma or GED.
• Technical school certificate in diesel, heavy equipment, or automotive technology preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of experience repairing and maintaining aerial lift equipment, utility trucks, cranes, digger derricks, or similar heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license required.
• CDL Class A or B preferred.
• Ability to obtain or maintain required aerial equipment certifications.

• Advanced knowledge of:
  • Hydraulic systems and controls
  • Electrical and multiplex wiring systems
  • Diesel and gasoline engines
  • Pneumatic systems
  • Mechanical drive trains and PTO systems
  • Boom and basket structural components
• Ability to read and interpret:
  • Hydraulic schematics
