River Hospital's Plant Operations team is seeking a full-time Maintenance Mechanic. JOB SUMMARY
Knowledge of repairing and maintaining all equipment associated with daily operations of physical plant. Employee maintains the Hospital buildings in livable and workable conditions relative to heat, light, power, air-conditioning, and other broad environmental factors. Repairs, constructs the Hospitals’ physical plant and its contents up to and including major additions to the size of the plant. Performs a variety of general, mechanical, and preventative maintenance as well as inspections, servicing, repair and overhaul of equipment and facilities of the hospital.
The employee generally performs work in shop area and hospital interior and exterior in all weather.
Employee subject to 24 hour call in the event of an emergency. Occasional evening or night shifts are required. Rotational call schedule required.
