NOW HIRING: TELECOMMUNICATIONS CONSTRUCTION TOP HAND
Patriot Towers is looking for an experienced Top Hand to take the next step in their construction career and join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow, take on more responsibility, and build their skill set.
What are you building?
- All towers, all the time. Anything and everything involving cell tower site development.
- Clearing and grubbing for new access roads.
- New access road installation.
- Tower foundations (including rebar installation and concrete pouring).
- Tower grounding installation.
- Electrical and fiber duct/ service installation.
- Cell carrier concrete pads, duct and services as required.
- Tower foundation modifications.
- Miscellaneous existing tower site maintenance.
- Access road snow removal as required during the winter months.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Lead and mentor other members of your crew as directed by the Foreman..
- Read, interpret, and execute blueprints and construction drawings.
- Review project documentation and prepare materials for installation.
- Take ownership of crew and job site safety.
- Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and correctly.
- Complete JHA/JSA documentation before heading to the job site.
- Troubleshoot field issues and find practical solutions with minimal supervision.
- Maintain proper truck stock, tools, equipment, and inventory.
- Perform daily truck inspections and help ensure company equipment is properly maintained.
- Hold yourself accountable for quality, safety, and professionalism.
- Train and develop junior staff members.
- Represent Patriot Towers professionally both on and off the job.

- Has proven site work construction experience.
- Can confidently read and work from construction drawings.
- Is self-sufficient and comfortable making decisions in the field.

- Leads by example and enjoys mentoring others.
- Takes safety and accountability seriously.
- Is dependable and willing to take ownership of their work and their crew.
WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY?
- $25-30 per hour, based on experience.
- Opportunity to work on prevailing wage projects throughout the year.
- This is an out-of-town traveling position, Monday-Friday.
- Travel, lodging, and project logistics are coordinated on an as needed basis as part of the position.
