Automotive Technician (A / B Tech) BMW of Southampton Southampton, NY Compensation range: $73K-$141K annually BMW of Southampton is seeking an experienced Upper-Level Technician (A or

B) to join our service team. This role is ideal for a skilled technician who can handle advanced diagnostics and repairs in a fast-paced luxury dealership environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on BMW vehicles
  • Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns
  • Complete repairs efficiently while meeting BMW quality standards
  • Work closely with service advisors to communicate findings and recommendations
  • Maintain productivity and a clean, safe work area
Qualifications
  • A or B Level Technician experience required
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • BMW experience preferred (not required for the right candidate)
  • Ability to work independently and produce quality work
  • Valid driver’s license NYS Inspection License a plus

Position Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Strong physical dexterity for working with tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and be a team player
  • Strong communication skills
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
