Maintenance Specialist​/Carpenter Private Estate

About the Role

This ideal candidate is an expert with strong, hands-on expertise across multiple construction and building systems and the ability to manage routine repairs and custom projects with precision and professionalism.

• General carpentry, including drywall cutting and patching
• Painting
• HVAC systems maintenance
• Small electrical and wiring projects
• Plumbing diagnostics and maintenance
• Specialty projects and troubleshooting
• Contributes to general property upkeep and preventative maintenance
• Supports renovations and developments
• Assists with groundskeeping, ensuring the residence and its systems run smoothly at all times

• Demonstrated experience as a skilled tradesperson (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and/or general construction)
• Expert knowledge of building systems, tools, materials, and safety practices
• Proactive attitude and hands‑on approach to identifying and addressing maintenance needs through effective, creative solutions
• Detail‑oriented and organized with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities
• Physically capable of lifting, climbing, and performing demanding manual labor
• Professional demeanor with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and vendors
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency is a significant plus

The ideal candidate takes pride in working with the Estate Manager and other household staff to deliver high‑quality workmanship across a wide range of projects and maintenance responsibilities.

This is a year‑round, full‑time position with a starting salary range of $125,000 to $150,000 per year and a generous benefits package. Compensation will be commensurate with credentials and experience.
