Job Summary

Safe Harbor Home Services Inc. is seeking a reliable and experienced Handyman with a construction background to assist with residential repair and maintenance work throughout Long Island.

This position is ideal for someone with hands-on construction experience who takes pride in quality workmanship and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general residential repairs and maintenance
• Carpentry repairs (doors, trim, minor framing)
• Drywall repair and patching
• Basic plumbing and electrical repairs
• Exterior repairs including siding, decking, and railings
• Identify and troubleshoot construction or maintenance issues
• Communicate clearly with clients and office staff
• Maintain a clean and professional work environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years construction or handyman experience
• Strong knowledge of residential construction and repairs
• Ability to work independently
• Must have own basic tools but many tools will be provided
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Professional and courteous with clients

Preferred Experience:

• Carpentry
• General construction
• Residential maintenance
• Home improvement work

Compensation:
Compensation based on experience. Will be hourly pay scale with overtime.
