Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Building Maintenance, HVAC Tech / Heating Engineer
You must have the qualifications to become a provisional hire in the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician title; you will be required to take the exam when announced by Nassau County Civil Service as well as be reachable when the exam is established.
Description- Performs a variety of highly skilled tasks in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and related equipment
- Performs related duties as required
- High School diploma and four years of satisfactory experience installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, equipment and machinery
- Continuing possession of an appropriate class, valid Driver's License issued by the State of New York
- Continuing possession of the Universal Technician Certification - for servicing all types of equipment - as determined by the United States Environmental Protection Agency. Building Management System (BMS) experience a plus
