Electromechanical Service Technician

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Installing automatic and semi-automatic packaging equipment (including pallet wrappers, shrink and bundling equipment, printers and label applicators)
• Troubleshooting/repairing automatic and semi-automatic machines in house and in customer facilities (pneumatics, electrical and mechanical trouble shooting)
• Assist with equipment preparation prior to shipment and delivery
• Complete and submit service reports at the end of each week as well as other documentation such as mileage and credit card receipts
• Complete ongoing training as necessary relevant to duties and equipment
• Travel as required, mostly in the Tri-state area. Occasional travel out of state.
• Maintain Company Vehicle and other company property such as tools as per policy
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Two-three years’ experience with electromechanical machinery. We will provide training specific to the machinery we sell and maintain.
• Previous experience with both the mechanical and electrical side of installation and troubleshooting
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution industry preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft 365 and multiple software systems
• Desire to work in a fast-paced customer focused environment.
• Ability to work with other departments and trades in a "team environment"
• Capacity to follow complex written and verbal instruction with limited supervision
• Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve on a case-by-case basis under pressure
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
• Valid Driver’s License
