Compensation Range

The base pay scale for this position is $46.58 - $46.58. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician II to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in a commercial and healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of electrical distribution systems, applicable electrical codes, and preventive maintenance practices while ensuring the safe and reliable operation of critical facility infrastructure.

• Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components.

• Install and maintain power distribution systems, including panels, feeders, transformers, switch gear, service equipment, motors, switches, and electrical circuits.

• Install, test, and repair lighting systems, lighting controls, electrical fixtures, receptacles, and branch circuits.

• Install and maintain high- and low-voltage electrical equipment in accordance with applicable codes and safety standards.

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot emergency power systems, including generators, automatic transfer switches (ATS), and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems.

• Install and service fire alarm systems, communication systems, utility equipment, heating equipment controls, and medical electrical equipment as required.

• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications to determine installation requirements.

• Plan electrical installations, recommend materials, and identify efficient installation methods for new construction and renovation projects.

• Estimate labor and material requirements for minor electrical projects and coordinate the timely procurement of supplies.

• Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective corrective actions to minimize equipment downtime.

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance in accordance with established maintenance schedules and computerized work order systems.

• Recommend temporary or emergency solutions to maintain operation of critical electrical systems when necessary.
