Peer Bridger​/Mentor

Comunilife is seeking an experienced Peer Counselor/Mentor/Bridger to provide support to clients. Help us support marginalized individuals in underserved communities. The position is part-time, 15 to 20 hours per week, located in Queens and the Bronx. The salary is up to $15.75 an hour.

• High School diploma/GED, bilingual (Spanish) preferred
• Familiarity with supportive housing and/or homelessness is a plus

• Assist with outreach and engagement of residents
• Provide supportive contacts related to client concerns
• Explain the benefits of following the service plan
• Accompany residents to appointments as needed
• Help residents learn about community supports and resources
• Participate in support planning when appropriate
