Job Description:
The Fatherhood Family Development Coach empowers fathers and families to build stability, strengthen relationships, and achieve self‑sufficiency through goal‑driven coaching and connection to critical community resources. This role focuses on helping families effectively navigate key City Systems—including public assistance, child support, child welfare, education, and housing—while fostering personal growth and family well‑being. The Coach will deliver individualized coaching, facilitate skills‑based workshops, and collaborate with community partners to achieve measurable program outcomes.
The position reports directly to the Program Director.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized coaching sessions to fathers and families.
- Facilitate skills‑based workshops on family‑centered topics.
- Collaborate with community partners to connect families with essential services.
- Collect and analyze data to measure program outcomes.

Reports to assigned program supervisor or covering supervisor. Manage assigned caseload and provide coverage for peer's caseload as needed. Provide direct clinical treatment using methods compatible with assigned model. Conduct assessments, including review of referral information, identifying and engaging key participants, identifying systemic strengths and weaknesses, and individualized treatment planning. Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts.

Description:
Works toward the goal of permanency for children either through reunification with parents, or through adoption or preparation for independent living. Trained and supported in implementation of multiple evidence‑based models used to support families and caregivers. Conducts birth home and foster home visits in addition to field visits; provides referrals to community service providers in accordance with the service plan for the family;
accompanies families to drug treatment, medical, school, housing, welfare settings; works with children in onsite care programs; attends court hearings in a timely manner with prepared court reports and/or permanency reports.
