Social Worker – School-Based (MSW) – Mitchell Martin, Dutchess County, NY (Onsite)

• Seeking a School-Based Social Worker (MSW) to support elementary school students in Dutchess County, NY.
• Full‑time role with predictable school schedule, manageable caseloads, and opportunities for prevention, early intervention, and counseling services.
• Provides strong clinical supervision, training toward licensure, and long‑term professional growth in a supportive, mission‑driven environment.

• Provide substance abuse and violence prevention and intervention services.
• Conduct screenings, assessments, intakes, and referrals.
• Deliver individual and small group counseling using evidence‑based approaches.
• Facilitate classroom‑based educational sessions.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Lead parent and faculty workshops.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and clinical teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.

• Elementary school students (K–8).
• Presenting concerns include social anxiety, academic challenges, emotional regulation, early mental health concerns, and experimentation with alcohol or substances.

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.

• Experience working with children, adolescents, or school‑based/community mental health.
• Interest in prevention‑focused, school‑based work.
