Position Overview
WWAARC has multiple Residential Manager positions available throughout Albany County. The Residential Manager will manage one or two residential group homes located in Albany County. If responsible for two homes, the base rate will increase. This is a full‑time 40‑hour Monday‑Friday position. The position is hourly non‑exempt, $24.00 per hour.
The Residential Manager will ensure the residential group home operates efficiently and effectively while maintaining regulatory compliance. The Residential Manager is responsible for the overall well‑being of the adults with developmental disabilities whose home they are managing. This oversight will include all physical aspects of the home, maintaining a welcoming home environment where people's everyday needs are met, including medical, recreation, and socialization.
Qualifications- 18 years of age or older.
- Have a valid driver’s license that meets WWAARC insurability standards.
- Preferred:
High School Diploma/equivalent with 5 years as supervisor;
Associate’s Degree with 3 years as supervisor; or Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year as supervisor. - To secure and maintain all certifications and trainings required by WWAARC, including but not limited to Medication Administration, First Aid & CPR, Mindful Driving, and SCIP‑R.
