Salary Range: $21.49-$25.79/hr
What You'll Do- Facilitate Self-Advocacy program for all Adult Day program sites, including the coordination of relevant workshops, yearly projects, fundraising opportunities, and other Self-Advocacy events.
- Assist in providing social skills training in a group setting to promote mental, emotional, physical, and social functioning.
- Assist with intake of new participants and associated paperwork.
- Act as liaison with internal and outside resources, (i.e. other DDI programs, DDI Transportation, Self-Advocacy of NYS, other agencies, etc.)
- Maintain documentation in a professional, efficient, accountable, and confidential manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work
- Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be comfortable working with the Developmentally Disabled population.
- Must be able to lift/move/carry 15 lbs.
- Must be able to kneel, twist and bend.
- Must be able to perform all physical SCIP techniques.
