Location: New York
Job Summary
New York Community Care is looking for a full‑time experienced Spanish speaking Intake Coordinator for our Bronx office. The Intake Coordinator plays an integral role in the Intake Department.
Job Responsibilities- Receive referrals from referral sources; process referrals from marketing sources such as hospitals, nursing homes, and community physicians.
- Verify patient’s insurance to determine eligibility.
- Educate patients on services we provide.
- Determine what services were approved by insurance.
- Contact patients to educate them on the services we can provide and assist them with their Home Care needs for skilled and non‑skilled services.
- Must have knowledge of HHA Exchange.
- 1 year of Intake Experience (Preferred).
- Spanish speaking (Required).
Job Type: Full‑time
Salary: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour
