Per Diem Counselor

Concern Housing is a non‑profit agency committed to helping individuals and families to live in the community with dignity and enhanced opportunities through the provision of housing and support services. We are one of the largest housing agencies of this kind in New York State, currently serving approximately 1,300 individuals and families in over 240 locations.

Per Diem Counselor – Bronx, NY – Full‑Time/Part‑Time. Provide relief coverage at Bronx locations. Flexible schedule around your availability. Great opportunity for professional development, for college students, or anyone looking for supplemental income with flexible hours.

All shifts:
Days, Evenings, Weekends, and Overnight.

• Provide site or program coverage as needed.
• Monitor medications as required.
• Maintain documentation of client contact, collateral contracts, and other relevant information.
• Assist clients with household/apartment responsibilities.
• Provide transportation to clients in agency vehicles as needed.
• Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Remain current with all agency‑required compliance documents and trainings.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Some experience in a similar setting or education in Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling or a related field.
