We are one of the largest housing agencies of this kind in New York State, currently serving approximately 1,300 individuals and families in over 240 locations.
Position:Per Diem Counselor
Location:
Coney Island, Brooklyn
Salary: $20.00/hr.
Days/
Hours:
All shifts open—Days, Evenings, Weekends, and Overnight.
Flexible schedule allows you to work around your own commitments while gaining experience in the non‑profit, social work field.
Responsibilities- Provide site or program coverage as needed.
- Monitor medications as required.
- Document client contact, collateral contracts, and other relevant information.
- Assist clients with household/apartment responsibilities.
- Provide transportation in agency vehicles for clients when needed.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Remain current with all agency‑required compliance documents and trainings.
High School Diploma or equivalent and some experience in a similar setting or education in the field of Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, or a related field.
