Description
The WIOA Train & Earn Case Manager will regularly meet with participants to address barriers to program completion, including the provision of referrals to other service providers. The Manager will also complete all necessary data entry related to this work and support the larger team with other program activities, such as outreach and recruitment, workshops, and post‑program placements.
Salary Range: $50,000 to $55,000 – salary is commensurate with education, training, and experience.
Schedule: Monday‑Friday 9 am–5 pm
Location: West Farms – Bronx, NY
Duties and Responsibilities- Assess each applicant for program fit and support addressing barriers to program completion.
- Complete a detailed intake assessment and design a corresponding service plan in collaboration with each qualifying applicant. Complete necessary enrollment paperwork.
- Meet with program participants regularly to discuss barriers to program completion leading to post‑program outcomes.
- Support in making external referrals to other service providers as necessary and ensure participants follow through with all referrals.
- Complete exit steps at the end of each cohort and assist with placement into positive outcomes for all youth.
- Assure quality, timely data entry into Salesforce database.
- Assist in identifying and developing services and programs not currently being offered.
- Experience working directly with youth/young adults who are out of school and out of work (OSOW) and barriers to employment.
- Track record in providing comprehensive case management services to young adults. Familiarity with public and nonprofit organizations within this population.
- Proven experience developing programmatic systems to enhance program outcomes.
- Ability to establish strong working relationships with team members, colleagues, participants, and external stakeholders.
- Experience working on multiple projects and balancing competing priorities.
- Strong skill set in data management and data tracking; demonstrated experience managing data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree or additional substantial professional development in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in a case manager or comparable role.
