Job Title: Program Director

Program: Unaccompanied Minors Program

Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 (depends on educational achievements and experience)

General Responsibilities

Catholic Guardian Services is seeking an experienced and compassionate Residential Program Director to lead our Unaccompanied Minors Program.

The Residential Program Director is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and performance of the residential program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services to unaccompanied children. This role provides strategic oversight of all residential, operational, and programmatic functions, ensuring compliance with Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) standards, federal and state regulations, licensing requirements, and agency policies.

The Program Director is committed to promoting a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment that fosters the well‑being, development, and successful outcomes of the children in our care while leading multidisciplinary teams and driving program excellence.

Required Skills
  • MSW, LMSW, LCSW, or equivalent graduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services Administration, Education, Sociology, or a related behavioral science field.
  • Minimum five years of progressively responsible leadership experience in child welfare, residential care, foster care, behavioral health, juvenile justice, or a related human services setting.

Demonstrated experience supervising multidisciplinary teams and overseeing complex program operations, including both programmatic and operational functions.

Knowledge of ORR policies, child welfare practices, trauma‑informed care, licensing requirements, and regulatory compliance standards. Experience managing audits, monitoring reviews, corrective action plans, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance activities.

Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
