Substitute Social Worker – Cosgrove Middle School and Spencerport High School
Job Overview: Long-term substitute for 2026-27 school year.
Responsibilities- Provide counseling services to students.
- Assist in crisis management, develop, monitor, and assess both academic and behavior support plans.
- Participate in the school building-based problem-solving team to develop assistance for at-risk students.
- Hold BIP meetings and write and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
- New York State Certification:
School Social Worker. - Preferred:
Successful experience as an elementary school social worker. - Knowledge of New York State Learning Standards and assessments.
- Knowledge of NYSED Part 100 and 200.
- Knowledge of PBIS, SEL, and MTSS.
- Ability to write and implement BIP.
- Experience holding BIP meetings.
$200 per day with a Bachelor’s Degree, $215 per day with a Master’s Degree.
ScheduleStarting date:
September 8, 2026 for approximately 12 weeks.
