Role OverviewWe are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Community Habilitation to a man in his 50s in the Jamesville area. He enjoys community activities, spending time with friends, movies, shopping, and bowling. The DSP will support him in exploring new activities, building social connections, and developing positive social skills through community engagement and the support from the DSP. Training, guidance, and ongoing support will be provided by the agency for the DSP.
Prior experience is a plus. Candidates must be reliable and punctual.
Work ScheduleHours:
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
Starting pay: $25 per hour.
Background Check RequirementsBackground check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non‑profit agency.
Qualifications- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation to arrive at job site on time.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule.
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR’s technology policy.
