Carnegie Hill Psychiatry is a private group practice in New York that offers medication management, mental health treatment, and psychological assessment. We are accepting applications for a 12‑month post‑doctoral fellowship position beginning in Fall 2026.
We welcome candidates who have completed an accredited American Psychological Association (APA) doctoral program and completed a doctoral internship to apply for our intensive training program.
Training and clinical responsibilities will be split between counseling and psychological assessment:
- Counseling: maintain a therapy caseload of approximately 8–12 clients per week, receive weekly supervision by a licensed psychologist, attend clinical training workshops, plan and lead a workshop for practice professionals, write relevant articles for publication, and complete administrative duties (e.g., progress notes, chart maintenance).
- Psychological assessment: receive advanced training in assessment for both children and adults, including exposure to neuropsychological instruments; complete 2–4 testing cases per month; conduct all portions of the assessment (intake, administration, feedback); interpret findings and write comprehensive reports; address referral concerns such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders; receive weekly supervision on testing caseload; serve as secondary supervisor to doctoral practicum students in administration and interpretation.
Salary, and Start Date

Accrued Vacation and Sick PTOThe start date is Fall 2026. The start date is flexible for the right candidate. This 12‑month position may lead to a longer‑term role after completion depending on interest and performance.
