• Ensure that clients adhere to the day‑to‑day program schedule, tracking attendance as required.
• Monitor participation in program events and activities, if applicable.
• Conduct and document routine room/bed and facility checks, (minimally every thirty minutes) to ensure client and facility safety and security.
• Evaluate the client's property/items upon admission to ensure compliance with facility and program guidelines.
• Provide safe, timely, and supervised transportation of clients to off‑site appointments or activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and/or other reports in a timely manner, in accordance with policy and procedures.

• Make hourly tours of the facility, logging all pertinent activity.
• Manage after‑hours incidents and emergencies, as required, notifying the appropriate staff.
• Coordinate and facilitate all scheduled nighttime activities (e.g., fire drill, evacuation, etc.).
• Complete room‑to‑room headcounts three times each night.
• Conduct routine facility checks to ensure facility safety and security.

Required

Education:

High School diploma or GED/equivalent.

Required Experience: Minimum one year’s experience working in social services. Bilingual in Spanish, preferred.

This job operates in an indoor office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

• Regularly required to sit, use hands to type, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch and lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
