Compensation$60,000 Starting Annual Salary
PurposeAmerica Works of Washington, Inc., a socially conscious company, is seeking a Financial Coach to support participant financial stability and long-term economic mobility for a workforce development program in Lewis County, WA. Duties and Responsibilities- Provide financial coaching, budgeting, and goal setting
- Identify and address financial barriers to employment
- Support credit building, debt management, and savings strategies
- Facilitate participation in MISA and other asset‑building efforts
- Coordinate services across the Career Success Team
- Recruit, enroll, and assess participants
- Improve participant stability and retention in employment
- Support long‑term wage progression and economic mobility
- Increase participant capacity to achieve financial goals and asset ownership
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date participant case files and case notes in accordance with program and data quality requirements
- Minimum of 4-year degree, relevant experience and/or advanced studies a plus
- Experience in financial coaching, case management, or a related participant‑facing role preferred
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, and One Drive/SharePoint preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, professional demeanor, sound judgment, and exceptional organizational skills
- Able to meet deadlines and have a high degree of flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities
- Passion for serving individuals from disadvantaged and underserved populations, including but not limited to: public assistance recipients, justice‑involved individuals, persons with physical and/or mental disabilities, and individuals experiencing homelessness
