General Responsibilities:
CGS is looking for an Creative and Empathetic
Family Support Specialist
for our Healthy Families Program. As a
Family Support Specialist
you are responsible for providing prenatal and other health education. Assisting to strengthen parent-child relationships, through an approved Parenting Curriculum Assisting parents to improve their skills to optimize the home environment for the child's.
Required Skills:
- Experience Managing large case load (20-26)
- Ability to establish trusting relationships and work effectively with children, families and extended family.
- Knowledgeable in writing service plans and creating/executing goals
Desired
Skills:
- Knowledge of community resources
- Experience working with, or assisting, at-risk children and families in a community setting.
