Resurrection House Inc is looking for a dedicated and compassionate House Monitor to join our team in Wheatley Heights, NY. • Monitor and supervise residents to ensure safety, compliance, and well-being throughout the facility
• Enforce house rules and maintain a structured, orderly living environment
• Conduct regular walkthroughs and inspections of the facility
• Document and report resident behavior, incidents, and concerns to supervisory staff
• Document case notes in files
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed
• Assist residents with daily living activities, including cooking and general guidance
• Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and management to ensure continuity of care

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Prior experience in residential care, social services, or a related field preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or crisis situations
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work various shifts including nights and weekends
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to helping others
• Basic computer and documentation skills
