Substitute Social Worker

The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for a substitute social worker at Cosgrove Middle School and Spencerport High School for the 2026-27 school year. Long-term substitute required. Credentials include New York State certification as a school social worker. Preferred experience includes working as an elementary school social worker, knowledge of New York State learning standards and assessments, knowledge of NYSED Part 100 and 200, knowledge of PBIS, SEL, and MTSS, and knowledge of behavior intervention plans (BIP) with the ability to write and implement.

Responsibilities include providing counseling services to students, assisting in crisis management, developing, monitoring, and assessing academic and behavior support plans, and participating as a member of the school's building-based problem-solving team to develop assistance for at-risk students.

Salary: $200 per day with a Bachelor's degree/$215 per day with a Master's degree. Starting date:
September 8, 2026 for approximately 12 weeks.
