Position SummaryThe Family Health Centers at NYU Langone’s mission is to improve the health of underserved communities by delivering high‑quality, culturally competent health care. The Family Partner (Family Worker) will build and sustain effective relationships with families and affiliated child‑care providers, supporting programs such as early childhood centers, mental health services, and community development initiatives.
Job Responsibilities- Visit affiliated provider homes monthly, using the DOE monitoring form to ensure compliance with OCFS/DOHMH regulations.
- Conduct follow‑up monitoring visits with supportive, strength‑based coaching and corrective actions as needed.
- Document all visits and communications with providers in a timely manner, aligning with the Early Childhood Framework for Quality (EFQ).
- Provide support and monitoring for providers participating in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
- Monitor the OCFS website for license and registration requirements, ensuring providers remain free of violations.
- Assist the Network Director with recruitment and affiliation of family child‑care providers.
- Coordinate creation and updates of the Community Partner Resource Guide and support workshops, special events, and other network activities.
- Participate in staff meetings to discuss provider and family needs and coordinate services.
- Participate in professional learning sessions delivered by the Department of Education.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by program leadership.
- Associate degree or Child Development Associate credential.
- Experience working with families with young children.
- Experience in family child‑care and/or with infants and toddlers.
- Willingness to travel within the FCC Network catchment area.
- Strong time‑management, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
- Appreciation for the unique needs of providers and families.
- Knowledge of the Sunset Park community.

Salary range: $35,129.60 – $45,000.00 per year. Actual salaries depend on experience, education, and organizational needs.
