The Goddard Riverside Community Center (Goddard Riverside) and the Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center (Isaacs Center) are well-established Manhattan community-based agencies that support services to approximately 30,000 New Yorkers. We are two of New York City’s leading human services organizations meeting the needs of children, youth and families, homeless individuals, and older adults through-out Manhattan and New York City. Goddard Riverside Community Center operates early childhood centers for working families and their children aged 2 to 5 years old. Each center facilitates classroom activities that promote intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth through the hands-on exploration of science, nature and art.

The role of the Family Worker is to provide a mixture of individual and group interventions with parents, caregivers, children and young people with additional needs up to the thresholds for social care involvement to improve outcomes for children and families. To work in partnership with parents to strengthen parental capacity and family relationships and to increase parental engagement in their local community and in their children’s education.

Monday through Friday between 7:30 am to 6:00 pm (7.5 hour shift)

$31,200- $35,485

Candidates must have the required qualifications to be considered for the position. The salary offer will be based on the candidate’s number of years experience in the exact or comparable position and additional preferred qualifications will be taken into account.
