Peer Corps Staffing is currently seeking compassionate and motivated Youth Peer Advocates (YPA) who already hold a Provisional Youth Peer Advocate (YPA) Credential issued through Families Together in NYS.

As a Youth Peer Advocate, you will use your lived experience to empower, mentor, and support youth and their families while working alongside behavioral health professionals.

Applicants must:

• Hold a Provisional Youth Peer Advocate (YPA) Credential (Required)
• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be passionate about supporting youth and families
• Be able to work professionally within a team environment

• Previous experience in peer support, behavioral health, social services, or youth services
• Reliable transportation
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

• Provide peer support services to youth and families
• Share lived experience appropriately to inspire hope and recovery
• Assist youth in identifying strengths and achieving personal goals
• Collaborate with care teams and community providers
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Participate in required trainings and supervision
