Therapeutic Case Manager -Abuse Intervention Services

Position Summary

The Family Wellness Program (FWP) provides comprehensive trauma-informed and anti-oppressive services to families who are affected by IPV, including survivors of IPV, the person who is causing harm (PCH), and children exposed to IPV in the home. Our goal is to help each member of the family establish long-term safety and stability by providing tools to heal from the effects of trauma and end intergenerational violence.

The Therapeutic Case Manager will provide direct services to PCHs engaged in the Abuse Intervention Services for Fathers (AISF) component of the FWP. The AISF offers comprehensive abuse intervention services to the PCH, including case management, supportive counseling, and the Caring Dads intervention group. The goal is to stop relationship abuse, thereby increasing safety and well-being of children and families.

The Therapeutic Case Manager will report to the Program Supervisor and provide services in Manhattan and in the South Bronx. The incumbent will understand and promote the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values to ensure alignment with the functions of the position.

$66,300 - $70,000 / year

To help children in poverty to succeed and thrive. We do this by providing comprehensive support to children and their families in targeted high-needs New York City neighborhoods. Children’s Aid annually serves children and their families at over 40 sites in New York, as well as through three national program models. Children’s Aid is concentrating its efforts on creating cradle-through-college pathways in high-need neighborhoods, with a focus on children’s health, family stability, education, and social and emotional development.
