Job Coach (Special Needs) Open in Staten Island Position Type
Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week
Position SummaryWe are seeking compassionate, motivated Job Coaches to support individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in obtaining and maintaining meaningful employment.
This community-based position provides hands-on coaching, training, and ongoing support at participants' job sites.
Full-time, 40 hours per week. The specific days and shift will be determined based on program needs and the individuals being supported.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of approximately 15–25 individuals.
- Provide on-site job coaching and support.
- Teach and model job tasks.
- Assist with transportation when needed.
- Complete case notes and documentation.
- Monitor participant progress.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One year working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
- DSP experience a plus.
- Teaching or mentoring experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
Travel expenses are reimbursed.
