Meet with clients to identify employment interests, skills, work history, and employment goals.

Assist clients with developing or updating resumes and completing employment applications.

Connect clients to job fairs, workforce development programs, employment agencies, training programs, and educational opportunities.

Assist clients with job searches and provide information on available employment opportunities.

Help clients identify barriers to employment and connect them with appropriate resources and supportive services.

Coordinate with community workforce organizations and employers to identify employment opportunities for clients.

Provide information regarding interview preparation, workplace expectations, and job-readiness skills.

Assist clients with obtaining employment-related documents, identification, and other requirements when needed.

Maintain a current list of employment, training, education, and workforce resources available to clients.

Track client participation in employment-related activities, referrals, and outcomes.

Develop and coordinate recreational, educational, and social activities for clients at the assessment site.

Create a monthly activity calendar that includes activities based on client interests and needs.

Coordinate activities such as games, arts and crafts, fitness, workshops, movie activities, group activities, and other appropriate recreational programming.

Partner with community organizations and volunteers to provide activities, workshops, and enrichment opportunities.

Encourage client participation in activities that promote social connection, positive engagement, and overall well-being.

Ensure activities are welcoming, inclusive, age-appropriate, and respectful of clients' diverse backgrounds and interests.

Obtain client feedback regarding activities and use feedback to improve programming.

Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe and organized manner.

Build positive working relationships with clients and encourage participation in services and activities.

Provide information and referrals to community resources, education programs, employment services, and other supportive services.

Coordinate with Case Managers and Housing/Intake staff regarding client needs, referrals, and progress.

Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and program planning meetings as assigned.

Assist clients with developing short-term goals related to employment, education, recreation, and personal development.

Follow up on referrals to ensure clients are connected to appropriate services.

Document client contacts, referrals, participation, and outcomes accurately and timely.

Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with agency and DHS requirements.

Identify and report concerns regarding client participation, safety, or service needs to the appropriate supervisor.

Support a trauma-informed, client-centered, and welcoming environment at the assessment site.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Housing and Intake.

Associate degree in Human Services, Social Services, Psychology, Recreation, Education, or a related field preferred.

Some college education with relevant shelter, employment services, recreation, or social services experience may be considered.
