Position: Full-time (Remote)

Term: Long-term

Timezone: until 3PM Chicago Time Zone

• Design, implement, and maintain efficient, reusable, and scalable server-side code using Kotlin, Typescript (for backend development and requires handling a complex central codebase)
• Support production applications including on-call responsibilities
• Develop robust and secure RESTful APIs
• Help improve, expand and maintain our acquisition, applicant and customer APIs
• Design and implement database schemas with a focus on data consistency, integrity, and optimization
• Optimize and maintain database performance for high-volume applications
• Work with the engineering and product team to help bring the features on our ambitious roadmap to life for our customers

• Experience as a backend developer with a focus on Kotlin
• Experience with Type Script as a backend developer
• Experience with React (at least 6 months) - will be a plus
• Experience with database systems (Postgre
  
  SQL, MySQL, etc)
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and continuous integration tools
• Experience with Git Hub Copilot or Gemini
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation
