Ads is a core feature of Door Dash, helping customers discover local stores and product offerings. The Ads Consumer Experience team builds mobile and backend components that enhance customization and optimization for mobile and web applications. Our mission is to build a useful and delightful consumer experience for discovering local stores and their product offerings through ads.

As Engineering Manager, you will oversee a talented group of engineers across backend, mobile, web and full‑stack disciplines. You will drive the successful execution of our product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality, reliable, and robust solutions that meet system reliability, customer needs, and business objectives. You will foster a collaborative cross‑functional work environment, promote effective communication and synergy among team members, and balance technical excellence with business priorities.

• Drive strategic impact across the organization, shaping product development direction.
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to define roadmap and vision.
• Lead an outstanding team by coaching, delegating, and holding high engineering standards.
• Inspire the team with technical vision and execution alignment.
• Scale the team by recruiting, retaining, and developing highly talented engineers.

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 7+ years of industry experience, including minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Experience managing product engineering teams with backend, frontend, and mobile engineers.
• Strong product sense and ability to partner with cross‑functional peers.
• Hands‑on experience building scalable products in fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and collaborate with stakeholders to design and build scalable experience solutions.
• Ability to guide and grow an excellent engineering team in a rapidly changing business environment.

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the USD $193,800‑$285,000 range for this position in the United States. In addition to base salary, compensation includes opportunities for equity grants.
