We are an early-stage fintech company building a fundamentally new retirement and financial infrastructure platform. Backed by top-tier investors and founded by experienced leaders from leading financial and technology companies, we are solving complex problems in trading, money movement, and capital allocation  team is small, senior, and execution-driven, operating from our New York City office.

As a Software Engineer on the Core Financial Platform team, you will build and maintain the systems that power trading, financing, and fund management. This is a backend-focused role for engineers who enjoy deep systems work, financial correctness, and solving high-stakes problems. You will own critical infrastructure that orchestrates and reconciles complex flows of funds and ensures reliability, accuracy, and scalability across the platform.

• Build and maintain core trading, financing, and fund management systems
• Design and architect backend services that orchestrate and reconcile complex money flows
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven systems
• Participate in architecture discussions, planning, and code reviews
• Own systems end-to-end, from design through production and iteration

• Strong experience with modern backend frameworks, API design, and event-driven architectures
• Proven architecture and problem-solving skills for complex systems
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Kotlin, Go, Java, Rust, C/C++, Python, Ruby, or Type Script)
• Hands-on experience with Postgre
  
  SQL or MySQL
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and modern build systems (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

• Experience building trading, lending, or asset management systems
• Background in fintech or early-stage technology companies
• Experience working in Kotlin backends
• Experience with asynchronous workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments

• Base salary: $180,000–$275,000
• Equity: Competitive equity package
