A stealth-stage healthcare technology startup in NYC is assembling a small engineering team to build the next generation of AI-powered operational tools for clinics, legal teams, and care providers
.

Our platform processes large volumes of unstructured data and automates workflows that are currently handled through slow, manual back-and-forth. We’re growing quickly and need engineers who can think independently, move fast, and deliver high-quality systems without layers of management.

You’ll work directly with the founders and early customers. This is not a “feature factory” job — you’ll architect systems, experiment with AI, and see your work adopted in the real world within days, not months.

• Backend services that process and transform high-volume data
• AI-enabled features that replace manual operational tasks
• Internal systems that allow our ops team to scale without headcount
• Product improvements based directly on customer feedback
• New workflows that support clinics, legal teams, and healthcare partners

• Have shipped full features end-to-end in production
• Enjoy talking to users and iterating quickly based on what you learn
• Prefer small, high-trust engineering teams
• Are comfortable making trade-offs between speed and correctness
• Can break down ambiguous problems into clear execution steps
• Like working with AI/LLM tools but don’t need everything to be “machine learning research”
• Want to see the impact of your work immediately

We’re flexible, but most of our systems are built using:

• Python for backend services
• FastAPI or similar frameworks
• Type Script for frontend and tooling

No need to be an expert in everything — strong generalists do well here.

• 2–6+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong backend fundamentals
• Experience with Python in production systems
• Ability to work across the stack when needed
• Interest in applied AI and workflow automation
• Must be willing to work in-person in NYC several days a week
• $165K–$205K base salary, depending on seniority
