Founding Engineer in Automation, Integration & Infrastructure

The Role We are seeking a versatile Software Engineer who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and can seamlessly move between frontend development, backend infrastructure, and customer-facing systems management. You'll be a foundational member of our engineering team, directly shaping our product architecture, infrastructure decisions, and customer success strategies.

  Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end software solutions for automation and integration challenges
• Development & Integration:
  Build robust integrations with existing enterprise software platforms
• Development & Integration:
  Develop intuitive interfaces that make complex automation accessible to all users
• Development & Integration:
  Lead full project life cycles from initial requirements through production deployment
• Infrastructure & Backend Management:
  Architect and implement license management systems for multi-tenant SaaS deployment
• Infrastructure & Backend Management:
  Design scalable backend infrastructure to support customer deployments
• Infrastructure & Backend Management:
  Manage and optimize server resources across customer instances
• Infrastructure & Backend Management:
  Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for production environments
• Infrastructure & Backend Management:
  Ensure high availability and performance of customer-facing services
• Infrastructure & Backend Management:
  Integration through full optimization of client data
• Testing & Implementation:
  Develop comprehensive testing strategies for new features and systems
• Testing & Implementation:
  Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployment
• Testing & Implementation:
  Conduct load testing and performance optimization
• Testing & Implementation:
  Support customer implementations and troubleshoot production issues
• Testing & Implementation:
  Document systems architecture and deployment procedures

• Previous professional software development experience
• Backend infrastructure expertise
• Including:
  Server administration (Linux/Windows)
• Database management and optimization
• License management and entitlement systems
• Multi-tenant architecture design
• Frontend Development experience including:
  Implementing UX, UI Design Templates
• Building basic splash pages and inbounding systems for leads
• Building embedded tools within existing software platform
• In-software development proficiency
• Experience with platform-specific languages (e.g., C# with Rhino Common, or similar embedded development environments)
• C# expertise for Windows task automation and scripting within software
• API integration experience, particularly with Dynamo and Revit platforms or similar
• Strong communication skills with proven ability to work with non-technical users
• Systems integration experience in enterprise environments

• Experience with license management platforms (FlexLM, Reprise, or similar solutions)
• Knowledge of compliance and security best practices
• Experience in AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) or manufacturing industries
• Previous startup or small team experience

This is a hands-on role requiring someone comfortable with both writing code and managing production systems.
