This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Senior Backend Engineer based in New York, NY. The Senior Backend Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable back‑end systems to support Udio’s AI‑driven music platform. The role includes implementing software development processes, working on back‑end web functionalities, ensuring system performance, and contributing to the team’s coding best practices.

Collaboration with cross‑functional teams, including front‑end developers, will also be a key component of this role.

• Expertise in Back‑End Web Development and Software Development
• Proficiency in Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) and programming fundamentals
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Front‑End Development teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Strong problem‑solving skills and experience with scalable and secure software architecture
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus
