We are an early-stage fintech company building a new financial platform designed to expand access to long-term wealth creation. Backed by top-tier investors and founded by experienced leaders from leading financial and technology companies, we are solving complex problems at the intersection of data, finance, and regulation. Our team is small, senior, and execution-focused, operating from our New York City office.

We are seeking a Software Engineer to be the founding member of our Data Platform team. In this role, you will build the data infrastructure and reporting systems that power business intelligence, compliance, and customer communications. This is a high-ownership position for engineers who care deeply about data accuracy, reliability, and building systems that support critical financial and regulatory workflows.

• Build and own the company’s data and reporting platform from the ground up
• Design and implement data pipelines that transform operational data into analytics-ready datasets
• Automate compliance reporting, regulatory filings, and customer notifications
• Develop customer-facing reporting systems such as account statements and performance analytics
• Build and maintain the data warehouse, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and accessibility
• Collaborate on architecture, planning, and code reviews across the engineering team

• Strong experience with data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows
• Proficiency in SQL and analytical data modeling
• Experience with modern data warehouses (Snowflake, Big Query, Redshift) and tools like dbt
• Experience building dashboards and analytics using BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Hex, Metabase, etc.)
• High attention to detail and a strong bias toward data correctness
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Go, Java, Kotlin, Rust, Type Script, etc.)
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

• Fintech or early-stage startup experience
• Familiarity with financial data, ledgers, or accounting concepts
• Experience with Kotlin backends or workflow orchestration tools

  • Base salary: $180,000–$275,000
