As part of the team working on Bubble’s core product, the Bubble Editor, you will help enhance the drag‑and‑drop interface that empowers users to build and design their applications. Our current focus includes modernizing the developer interface, reimagining the user experience for building out databases, and leveraging AI to provide users with contextual support.

You will contribute to both product and technical direction while working closely with senior engineers and learning from your colleagues. We have a culture that emphasizes trust and autonomy, where teams are given problems to tackle rather than solutions to implement.

• Write efficient, readable, well‑tested, high‑quality code for our core product on a daily basis.
• Reduce technical debt to improve the longevity and performance of our codebase.
• Conduct peer code reviews to ensure high‑quality, well‑tested work.
• Lead projects by creating technical designs and collaborating with product and design to plan architecture and execution.
• Mentor other team members and help them grow and develop their technical skills.

• 5+ years of industry experience as a software engineer, preferably with experience in high‑growth startups.
• Strong problem‑solving and full‑stack development skills with a track record of implementing high‑quality, scalable solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to partner effectively with teammates and managers, and ability to estimate and commit to timelines and execute priorities.

Competitive salary range: $183,000–$237,000. Actual pay is determined by multiple factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and market demand.

Remote optional with a requirement to work EST hours. You will travel to NYC to work in the office with the team once a month. Relocation assistance is available for those interested in moving to the NYC area.
