Vendelux is a Series A SaaS company helping organizations discover the best events. Our platform provides proprietary insights that enable high‑growth companies to identify the highest ROI conferences and trade shows. We have built an AI‑powered platform that customers describe as an event marketer’s dream.

We are looking for Senior Software Engineers to ship critical features and make key infrastructure changes. The position is full‑time, based in NYC, with a hybrid schedule (four days in office). It reports directly to the Head of Engineering.

• Own substantial user‑impacting projects from design to build to rollout
• Participate in code and system design reviews
• Contribute improvements to internal processes and dev tools
• Understand our users and their needs, and contribute to product discovery and prioritization with leadership, product management, and design teams
• Help grow the team via hiring and mentoring activities

• Frontend:
  Typescript, React, MUI/Shadcn, Node.js
• Backend:
  Python, Django, Typescript, Node.js, MySQL, Postgres, AWS, GCP
• Data:
  Python, Dagster, Snowflake
• Other tools:
  Linear, Git Hub, Datadog, Cursor / Claude Code

• 5+ years of experience building complex applications using a modern language such as Python or Typescript
• Track record of shaping and shipping valuable features
• Track record of driving high‑leverage improvements to infrastructure and process
• Judgment to take on technical debt and risk where appropriate
• Comfort with modern AI tools to accelerate development
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
• The humor and humility to maintain perspective during fast‑paced work
• Nice‑to‑have:
  Previous startup experience
• Nice‑to‑have:
  Dev Ops or platform/infrastructure experience (or deep interest)
• Nice‑to‑have:
  Experience with AI prototyping tools such as v0, Lovable, Replit, etc.
