The Product Development team is the engine at the heart of our MSFS technology ecosystem, ensuring our platforms perform seamlessly for clients and colleagues every day while leading transformative changes across our business. Through the team’s deep partnership with our Technology department, they are reimagining how we work and how clients and their investors engage with MSFS. Product Development is also at the forefront of adopting advanced technologies, including robotics and artificial intelligence, to deliver greater scale, efficiency, and operational excellence for MSFS and its stakeholders.

Role Description

The Team is seeking an Associate with skills in programming and database, a keen interest in process optimization, and a structured approach to problem solving. The business environment is complex and there are many processes that require deep analysis followed by automation. We are seeking leaders who can help further enhance the efficiency of the organization, by applying his/her creativity, and by making use of familiar tools such as VBA in Excel, R, and the new tools in the marketplace.

Requirements

The candidate must have a technical degree for his/her undergraduate education, in disciplines such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. Programming skill is essential in this role, and the candidate also has to demonstrate experience or qualification in Finance/Accounting, through an additional business degree or having acquired the CFA charter. It is only by having both sides of the skills and knowledge can the candidate be effective and efficient in this role.

He/she has to be able to program in some of these languages: VBA, Matlab, Python, or R.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

The successful candidate’s responsibility will span across almost all facets of MSFS, working with various groups on such projects. Besides analytical and technical skills, the candidate has to have good communication skill, a collaborative attitude, high creativity, as well as being an independent thinker and at the same time a great listener.
