Hands-On Engineering Manager

This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to join a rapidly growing, product-led fintech organization at a pivotal stage of its evolution. You will play a critical role in shaping both the technology and the engineering culture while helping modernize a complex and traditionally underserved segment of financial services.

You will lead and contribute hands-on to the design and development of advanced cloud-based solutions built on Microsoft Azure, operating within a highly agile, Dev Ops-driven environment with strong Test-Driven Development practices. The engineering organization releases frequently, with a mature automation pipeline supporting unit, integration, UI, and performance testing—allowing new code to reach production quickly and safely.

Reporting directly to the CTO, you will collaborate closely with senior engineering leadership across North America and Europe while managing a distributed development team.

• Partner with Product, Implementation, and Client Success teams to design client-driven software solutions
• Lead development efforts for new and complex features, setting technical direction and execution standards
• Serve as the day-to-day manager for a distributed engineering team across the Americas
• Contribute hands-on to both front-end and back-end development
• Ensure high-quality, maintainable code through strong automated testing practices
• Foster an agile, collaborative engineering culture focused on continuous improvement

• Master’s degree in Software Development or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• Including at least 4 years in a people or technical leadership role
• Experience working with complex financial systems
• Strong ability to understand and translate complex business processes into technical solutions
• Proven commitment to writing extensible, testable, and maintainable code
• Advanced proficiency in C#, modern .NET and cloud-based architectures (Azure preferred)
