As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing the ideal backend system architecture, addressing customer pain points, and contributing to the overall success of our platform.
Key Responsibilities- System Architecture:Develop an ideal backend system architecture to solve problems efficiently. Create strategic plans to achieve the-term vision while delivering shorter-term solutions that provide immediate value to our customers.
- Customer Interaction:Engage with customers to understand their pain points. Collaborate on brainstorming sessions to devise innovative solutions that enhance the customer experience
- Critical Thinking:Apply critical thinking to problem-solving, starting from the ground up. Challenge existing solutions and propose novel approaches free from bias.
- 8+ years of relevant professional full-time experience building backend systems for Senior roles.
- Proactive self-starter capable of independently solving problems.
- Write clean and maintainable code using Python, Django, PostGreSQL / any relevant backend stack
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in the backend system
- Optimize the performance of the backend services (GCP , DBT)
$200,000 - $300,000 a year
Some exposure to Front End (React, basic familiarity with a JS library + willingness to learn)
